In many ways the opposite of Silvermist, Smoke is created by death, destruction, pain and suffering. Oblivion is said to be made of Smoke, which both kills the living and reanimates corpses to join the ranks of the undead. All undead are suffused with Smoke, which seems to cling to most of them in a sort of fuzzy aura that distorts vision and washes out color. While silvermist slips away rapidly when not held by the living, Smoke clings to places, soaking in to the land sometimes. The faithful of Solus use ritual prayers to cleanse areas of Smoke, though it can often be difficult to truly rid a place of the traces of Oblivion.
